An impressive exhibition space, The Baggage Hall has been in use since 1997 for exhibitions, workshops and business presentations. The Compass Room, the very chic former departures- and arrivals hall, has undergone renovations in 2005 and is now available for congresses, lectures and workshops.

Since 1992, the neighbourhood around Loods 6 has rapidly mushroomed into a district where new architecture, design, art and business reinforce one another in a successful and self-evident mix. In order to support this process, Loods 6 is currently setting up an information centre in the entrance hall of the Compass Room. In collaboration with the Amsterdam Board of Tourism and Conventions, ACTB, and the Hogeschool Inholland Diemen technical college, the new facility will serve as an information centre for the history, architecture and culture of the Amsterdam East Harbour District.
