The Compass Room in Loods 6 is a presentation and reception space that can be rented for cultural events, congresses and receptions. This historic and monumental departures and arrivals hall, designed by architect Johan van Tienhoven, is still in its original condition. With 500 square metres of floor space, it has a beautiful, linoleum floor and original mosaics. Seating over 250 people, it now has a new, architect-designed bar. Along the entire length of the Compass Room is an outdoor terrace overlooking the IJ waterway.
The Compass Room is equipped with Airport and ADSL and is therefore an ideal working location.
The Compass Room has a completely professional kitchen and its own permanent catering team, with whom you can make your own arrangements, anywhere from a few drinks to full-service meals for large groups (020 4199596). The Compass Room also serves as a
lunchroom and restaurant.
Besides the Compass Room, Loods 6 also has different office spaces and the
Baggage Hall for hire.
